Job Summary
Binance is hiring a Country Manager to drive market expansion, manage local P&L and operations, and lead regulatory engagement strategies. Key Roles & Operational Responsibilities
1. Market Growth & Strategic Planning
- Strategic Roadmap Execution: Formulate and execute a localized growth strategy aligned with global Binance objectives and local market dynamics.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue key commercial partnerships, localized Web3 collaborations, and user acquisition strategies to increase market share.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Direct cross-functional local teams (marketing, operations, compliance, customer support) to achieve localized targets.
2. Regulatory Compliance & Government Relations
- Regulatory Navigation: Ensure strict adherence to local financial and digital asset regulations, coordinating with internal legal and compliance teams on licensing and documentation.
- Policy Advocacy: Build and maintain high-level relationships with government officials, regulatory bodies, and industry associations to advocate for favorable Web3 frameworks.
- Compliance Management: Oversee regulatory submission approvals and operational standards.
3. P&L Oversight & Operations
- Financial Management: Direct local operations and manage the country P&L, budget allocation, and resource distribution to maximize ROI.
- Service Standards: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational efficiency, platform reliability, and high customer satisfaction.
4. Brand Ambassadorship & Community Engagement
- Primary Spokesperson: Represent Binance in local public forums, media engagements, industry conferences, and stakeholder meetings.
- Ecosystem Advocacy: Promote Binance's core mission of advancing the freedom of money and building an inclusive financial ecosystem.
Foundational Capabilities & Prerequisites
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Professional Background: 10+ years of senior leadership experience in a comparable capacity (FinTech, Technology, Finance, or Crypto).
- Regulatory & Policy Expertise: Demonstrated track record in navigating regulatory environments, working directly with policy makers, and securing operating approvals.
- Business Development: Proven capability in leading market entry, negotiating strategic alliances, and expanding user bases in competitive sectors.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Self-starter capability to operate an innovative, sustainable operation with high autonomy.
- Domain Passion: Genuine passion for cryptocurrency, Web3, and digital assets.
- Communication: Exceptional public speaking, negotiation, and executive communication skills.
