Product Marketing Lead

Job Summary

Consensys is hiring a remote Product Marketing Lead - Trade for MetaMask across US, EMEA, and LATAM regions. Responsible for GTM strategy, feature positioning, and lifecycle marketing for token swaps, perps, prediction markets, and RWAs. Requires 6-8+ years of FinTech or crypto product marketing experience. US Salary range: $146,000 - $220,000 + equity.

Key Roles & Operational Responsibilities

1. Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy & Product Shaping

• End-to-End GTM Execution: Formulate and execute comprehensive global GTM strategies for MetaMask Trading features, covering market opportunity sizing, positioning, launch execution, and lifecycle optimization.
• Roadmap & Monetization Influence: Partner with Product Leads to shape feature roadmaps, pricing, and monetization using user behavior analysis, market research, and competitive intelligence.
• User Advocacy: Serve as a strategic thought partner representing onchain trader needs and competitive realities during executive strategy meetings.

2. Product Growth, Launches & Lifecycle Marketing

• Feature Rollouts: Lead product launches with tailored narratives that resonate with crypto traders, long-term token holders, and institutional/retail market segments.
• Funnel Optimization: Collaborate with Growth and Data Analytics teams to pinpoint user drop-off points, designing targeted lifecycle programs to increase conversion, trading volume, and user retention.
• Measurement & Learning: Ensure every campaign operates against defined key performance indicators (KPIs) and produces documented post-campaign insights.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Community Outreach

• Integrated Marketing Campaigns: Coordinate across Product, Brand, Communications, Business Development, and Customer Support to deliver cohesive campaigns aligning product value with Web3 culture.
• Brand Trust & Education: Strengthen MetaMask’s market standing as a user-first, trusted trading portal by supporting educational, influencer, and community programs (especially in emerging markets).
• Narrative Consistency: Maintain consistent product messaging across all touchpoints, from lifecycle emails and app interfaces to content and brand campaigns.

Foundational Capabilities & Prerequisites

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Professional Experience: 6 to 8+ years of dedicated product marketing experience within FinTech, cryptocurrency, Web3, or high-growth consumer technology environments.
• Launch & Lifecycle Track Record: Demonstrated success leading end-to-end product launches and lifecycle marketing programs with clear, measurable outcomes.
• Analytical & Narrative Balance: Ability to translate complex cryptographic and financial concepts into clear stories, combined with comfort using data analytics to inform strategies.
• Domain Curiosity: Deep curiosity about Web3, DeFi protocols, decentralized trading, and onchain user behavior.
• Communication: Outstanding cross-functional project leadership and executive communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on GTM leadership for perpetuals (perps) trading or prediction market platforms.
• Experience directing product marketing or growth strategies targeted at Asian markets.
