Job Summary
The Senior Product Manager – Patient Intelligence defines the product vision, roadmap, and GTM strategy for real-time patient profiling AI systems. This manager conducts customer discovery with hospital executives and frontline clinicians, authors Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), partners with engineering/design squads during Agile sprints, tracks key performance indicators (adoption, NPS, value realization), and collaborates with sales teams on product pricing models.
Key Roles & Operational Responsibilities
1. Vision, Roadmap & Agile Product Strategy
- Flagship Roadmap Ownership: Define and own the end-to-end strategic roadmap for the Patient Profiling AI product, balancing clinical impact with corporate growth targets.
- Requirements & Spec Engineering: Author detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), clear user stories, and measurable success metrics for engineering, data science, and design squads.
- Metric Tracking: Own product KPIs end-to-end, monitoring user adoption velocity, bedside clinical engagement, Net Promoter Scores (NPS), and quantifiable value realization metrics.
2. Clinical Discovery & Go-to-Market Execution
- Customer Discovery: Lead deep user research and discovery initiatives with Chief Medical Officers (CMOs), Chief Nursing Officers (CNOs), and bedside clinicians to isolate workflow pain points.
- GTM & Pricing Strategy: Collaborate with sales and marketing leadership to define commercial positioning, tier pricing architectures, and Go-to-Market strategies for new feature launches.
- Strategic Product Representation: Represent the Patient Intelligence suite during high-stakes customer sales meetings, health system partner reviews, and regional healthcare conferences.
Foundational Capabilities & Prerequisites
Required Technical Profile & Experience
- Experience Baseline: Minimum of 6+ years of progressive product management experience, including at least 3+ years specifically inside a health tech company.
- Enterprise B2B Delivery: Demonstrated track record of shipping enterprise B2B software successfully adopted by clinical end-users in real-world care settings.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong quantitative data analysis capabilities; comfortable working with metrics frameworks (hands-on SQL proficiency is a distinct advantage).
- Communication Command: Exceptional written communication skills with a proven capacity to translate complex clinical problems into crisp product hypotheses and specs.
- Agile Leadership: Proven experience guiding cross-functional squads (engineering, UX/UI, QA) within fast-paced Agile environments.
Desired Skills
- Clinical background (RN, PA, MD) or practical exposure to clinical informatics.
- Prior experience delivering AI/ML-driven software products, particularly within healthcare settings.
- Hands-on familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) workflows (Epic, Cerner) and health system enterprise procurement processes.
