Team Lead, GTM Systems Business Analyst

Job Summary

The Team Lead GTM Systems Business Analyst leads business intake, requirement shaping, and system alignment across Sales, CS, Marketing, and RevOps at Deel. This leader manages a team of analysts, translates complex requests into technical requirements for engineering sprints, enforces data governance, and architects scalable integrations across Salesforce, Hubspot, and middleware platforms.

Key Roles & Operational Responsibilities

1. Business Intake Governance & Requirement Shaping

• Front-Door Ownership: Direct the business intake process for all GTM tech requests originating from Sales Ops, Customer Success Ops, Marketing Ops, and RevOps across EMEA.
• Problem Reframing: Challenge mis-scoped, ambiguous, or overly solution-led requests, reframing them into clear WHAT / WHY / OUTCOME business definitions.
• Technical Solution Shaping: Translate business needs into structured technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Collaborate with GTM Architects and Developers to ensure solution scalability before sprint entry.
• Dependency & Risk Management: Identify cross-system dependencies, data quality impacts, permission structures, and downstream reporting risks early in the discovery phase.

2. Team Leadership, Coaching & Capability Building

• People Management: Direct, coach, and develop a team of GTM Systems Analysts, setting benchmarks for quality, stakeholder communication, and domain ownership.
• Discovery Coaching: Train analysts in advanced discovery methods, translating ambiguity into technical clarity and navigating interactions with senior business executives.
• Process Standardization: Establish and enforce intake templates, requirement standards, documentation practices, and UAT readiness workflows across the EMEA region.

3. Data Governance, Integration & Delivery Enablement

• Cross-Functional Bridge: Serve as the functional link between business stakeholders and GTM Engineering to maintain high delivery throughput and predictable sprint flow.
• Data Architecture & Documentation: Enforce strong data discipline across systems, ensuring business logic, process decisions, and system behaviors are documented and accessible.
• Integration Support: Guide integration design across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Hubspot, Gainsight, Gong, Outreach, and middleware solutions (Syncari, Workato, Mulesoft).

Foundational Capabilities & Prerequisites

Required Technical Profile & Qualifications

• Salesforce Engineering Depth: Minimum 6+ years of Salesforce development experience with advanced technical hands-on capabilities (Apex, Lightning Web Components [LWC], Visualforce, Java, SQL, C++, XML, JavaScript).
• Certifications: Active Salesforce Certifications required (e.g., Platform App Builder, Advanced Developer, or System Architect credentials).
• GTM Systems Stack: Hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and GTM tools including Gong, Outreach, ChiliPiper, Hubspot, Gainsight, and DealHub.
• Enterprise Integration Proficiency: Direct experience with integration platforms and ETL/ELT pipelines like Syncari, Workato, Mulesoft, and Fivetran.
• API Architecture: Deep understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and custom integration building on the Salesforce platform.
• Location & Language: Remote availability across EMEA time zones with fluent English communication skills.
